Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na stereotypní zobrazování žen v médiích. Konkrétně jde o zobrazení ideálu ženské krásy. Teoretická část vysvětluje pojem stereotyp, geneze a gender. Zaměřuje se i na stereotypy v médiích, genderové stereotypy a na vztah médií a genderu. Zmíněn je i vývoj a proměny ideálu ženské krásy. Abstract:
This diploma thesis is focused on the stereotypical view of women in the media. Specifically the ideal of beauty. The theoretical part explain the concept of stereotype, genesis and gender. It focuses on media stereotypes, gender stereotypes and the relationship between media and gender. Described is the development of the ideal of feminine beauty.
