Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá termínovanými vkladmi vo vybraných bankách SR a ČR. Prvá kapitola vymedzuje podstatu banky a jej činnosti, obchodov komerčných bánk, bankových depozitných produktov a systému ochrany vkladov.
