Tato diplomová práce pojednává o lakotském náčelníkovi Sedícím býku, který celý svůj život věnoval boji za záchranu lakotských zemí, kultury a tradičního způsobu života. Sedící býk kladl odpor pokud to bylo možné. Tlak vynaložený bílými přistěhovalci jej však poměrně často zahnal do situací, kdy se musel podřídit. Abstract:
The thesis deals with a Lakota chief Sitting Bull – Tatanka Iyotanka – who devoted his life to the fight for the lands that belonged to the Lakotas as well as to the preservation of their culture and traditional way of life.
