The role of the Arms Industry and multiplying effect on economy

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice zbrojního průmyslu v České republice a o jeho multiplikovaném efektu na ekonomiku státu. V úvodu této práce jsou zpracovány teoretické informace o průmyslu obecně stejně tak jako o multiplikovaném efektu. Druhá část práce se soustředí přímo na zbrojní průmysl. Je zde popsána historie tohoto průmyslu i jeho současná situace. Popsány jsou i tuzemské podniky, které se zabývají zbrojní výrobou, a to jak soukromé tak státem vlastněné. Na konkrétním příkladu je zde vysvětlen vliv multiplikačního efektu. Na konci této práce autor poskytuje své hodnocení zbrojního průmyslu na základě získaných poznatků a SWOT analýzu odvětví.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is about arms industry in Czech Republic and it's multiplying effect on the economy of the state. In the introduction of the thesis there is theoretical information about industry in general as well as information about the multiplying effect in general. The second part of this thesis is focusing directly on arms industry. The history of this field is described here with also current status. There are also details about several Czech businesses that deal in the arms market. Both state-owned and private are included. There is a concrete example of multiplying effect working in practice. The thesis ends with author's evaluation of the arms industry based on gained knowledge and SWOT analysis.
