Pension system in the Czech Republic and its future

Abstract:

Důchodový systém v ČR a jeho budoucnost Tato diplomová práce pojednává o důchodovém systému v ČR po velké důchodové reformě v roce 2013. Teoretická část je věnována popisu důchodového systému v ČR, uvádí do problematiky sociální politiky a jejího vývoje, charakterizuje sociální zabezpečení jako součást sociální politiky. Následně je tato část věnována penzijním společnostem a nabídkám jejich produktů. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu a komparaci produktů penzijních společností z hlediska kritéria podílu na trhu, rizikového profilu, portfolia investic, ziskovosti, výkonnosti a výše úplaty penzijní společnosti. Důchodový a účastnický fond, které v analýze a komparaci produktů penzijních společností dosáhly nejlepších výsledků, byly následně použity v kalkulaci měsíčních starobních důchodů, které by za daných předpokladů pobíral fiktivní klient v roce 2014, a to v každém z pilířů důchodového systému. V závěru práce jsou zhodnoceny výsledky kalkulací měsíčních starobních důchodů a navrženo doporučení fiktivnímu klientovi, jak vyřešit spoření si na důchod v rámci důchodového systému tak, aby pobíral nejvyšší důchod. Stejně tak je navrženo doporučení i ostatním potenciálním klientům. Je zde také nastíněna budoucnost důchodového systému v ČR.

Abstract:

Pension system in the Czech Republic and its future This thesis deals with the pension system in the Czech Republic after the big pension reform in year 2013. The theoretical part is devoted to the specification of the pension system in the Czech Republic, to the introduction to the issues of social politicy and its development. This part defines the social security scheme as a part of social politicy. Later on, this part is devoted to pension companies and their offers of products. The practical part consists of an analysis and comparison of products of pension companies from the point of views of market share, risk profile, investment portfolio, profitability, productivity, charges for pension companies. The pension fund and the participation fund, which in analysis and comparison of products of pension companies reached the best result, were after that used in a calculation of the monthly old-age pension, which a fictitious client could recieve under the fixed condition in year 2014, namely in each pillar of the pension system. Finally, the results of calculation of the monthly old-age pension are evaluated and recommendations to the fictitious client and other potential clients are suggested, how to solve their savings for pension within the pension system, in order to recieve the biggest pension. The future of the pension system in the Czech Republic is there outlined too.
