Historical development of the view of oral health

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis provides an overview of the periodization of the development of the view on oral health and describes the transformations of its perception in human society. It is necessary to capture the continuity of its development in order to make humanity aware of the progress that has occurred in the last centuries in the field of oral health. The progress in oral health prevention has been made possible by numerous historical breakthroughs and research. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis aims to establish the current perspectives on oral health among selected respondents using a structured interview method.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca poskytuje prehľad periodizácie vývoja pohľadu na orálne zdravie a popisuje premeny jeho vnímania v ľudskej spoločnosti. Aby si ľudstvo uvedomilo pokrok, ktorý nastal za posledné storočia v oblasti orálneho zdravia, je nevyhnutné zachytiť kontinuitu jeho vývoja. Progres v prevencii ústneho zdravia umožnili početné prelomové historické objavy a výskumy. Praktická časť bakalárskej práce sa zameriava sa zistenie súčasného pohľadu na orálne zdravie u vybraných respondentov pomocou metódy štruktúrovaného rozhovoru.
