Changes in preparation for the school leaving examination in the Czech language and literature

Abstract:

V diplomové práci s názvem „Změny v přípravě na maturitní zkoušku z českého jazyka a literatury“ jsme se nejprve věnovali historii tradiční maturitní zkoušky. Zmapovali jsme období od založení maturitní zkoušky na středních školách v naší zemi do 90. let 20. století, tedy do doby, kdy začaly zaměstnávat laickou i odbornou veřejnost úvahy o nové koncepci maturitní zkoušky. V další části jsme se věnovali již zmíněné nové maturitní zkoušce – jejímu vzniku, historii změn a především jsme kladli důraz na předmět český jazyk a literatura. Ve třetí kapitole jsme shrnuli zkušební maturity (MaG), které proběhly v říjnu 2010, a také jsme popsali první ročník státních maturitních zkoušek, který se uskutečnil na jaře 2011. Součástí diplomové práce je vyhodnocení dvou sad dotazníků, týkajících se přípravy studentů na maturitní zkoušku, o jejichž vyplnění jsme požádali absolventy středních škol v roce 2007 a v roce 2011.

Abstract:

In the thesis entitled "Changes in the Preparation for Leaving Examination in Czech Language and Literature" we focused on the history of traditional leaving examination. We mapped the period from the foundation of leaving examination at grammar schools in our country to the nineties of the 20 th century, thus from the period when the laic and skilled public was first interested in the new concept of leaving examination. In the next part we emphasised the new form of the leaving examination mentioned above, especially its origin, history and changes and we concentrated on Czech language and literature. In the third part we summarised the results of the trial version of leaving examination which were carried out in October 2010 and we also described the c ourse of the first year of leaving examination which was carried out in spring 2011. This thesis also involves the evaluation of two questionnaire sets concerning the students´preparation for leaving examination which were filled by secondary school graduates in the year 2007 and 2011.
