The aim of this thesis was to define senior education in Slovakia. The theoretical part is split in 5 chapters. The first chapter clarifies the basic terms of the issue, giving priority to seniors, as the target group of education, regarding the life-long learning. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá vzdelávaním seniorov na Slovensku. Teoretická časť je rozdelená na päť kapitol. Prvá kapitola pojednáva o senioroch ako cieľovej skupine edukácie z pohľadu celoživotného vzdelávania a objasňuje základné pojmy problematiky.
