Abstract:

Diplomová práce se bude věnovat tématu: Projekt zavedení systému prevence demence v České republice. Práce se bude skládat z teoretické a praktické části. Diplomová práce si klade za cíl představit komplexní přístup k řešení problematiky demence, která je v současné době považována za jednu z nejvýznamnějších výzev veřejného zdraví. Demence, a zejména Alzheimerova choroba jako její nejčastější forma, postihuje stále větší počet lidí, což má značný dopad nejen na postižené jedince a jejich rodiny, ale i na celkovou strukturu zdravotní péče a sociální služby. Hlavním účelem této práce je navrhnout konkrétní projekt prevence demence zaměřeného na rizikové skupiny v České republice. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se zabývá definicí a klasifikací demence, přičemž klade důraz na Alzheimerovu chorobu. Dále se věnuje gerontologii a vlivu stárnutí na lidskou paměť. Součástí této části je rovněž analýza zdravotní politiky České republiky v oblasti demence a její prevence, včetně představení relevantních organizací a iniciativ, jako je Národní akční plán pro Alzheimerovu chorobu a Česká asociace pro Alzheimerovu nemoc. Praktická část se zaměřuje na návrh konkrétního projektu prevence demence a jeho ověření z hlediska efektivnosti, nákladů a rizik.

Abstract:

The master's thesis will focus on the topic: The Project of Implementing a Dementia Prevention System in the Czech Republic. The work will consist of theoretical and practical parts. The thesis aims to introduce a comprehensive approach to addressing the issue of dementia, which is currently considered one of the most significant public health challenges. Dementia, especially Alzheimer's disease as its most common form, affects an increasing number of people, which has a considerable impact not only on the affected individuals and their families but also on the overall structure of healthcare and social services. The main purpose of this work is to propose a specific project for dementia prevention focused on risk groups in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the definition and classification of dementia, with an emphasis on Alzheimer's disease. It also addresses gerontology and the impact of aging on human memory. This part also includes an analysis of the Czech Republic's health policy in the field of dementia and its prevention, including the presentation of relevant organizations and initiatives, such as the National Action Plan for Alzheimer's Disease and the Czech Alzheimer's Association. The practical part focuses on the design of a specific dementia prevention project and its verification in terms of effectiveness, costs, and risks.
