Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou rozvoje cestovního ruchu v Turecku. Hlavním cílem práce je provést analýzu Turecka jako turistické destinace a zhodnotit jeho předpoklady pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu. V daném kontextu bude stěžejní pochopit primární a sekundární nabídku vybrané destinace a zhodnotit faktory rozvoje cestovního ruchu s perspektivou do budoucna. Analytická část práce vychází ze sekundárních dat, které byly následně využity k vypracování SWOT analýzy a Porterového modelu pěti konkurenčních síl. SWOT analýza by měla identifikovat místa a mezery v nabídce, které by v budoucnu mohly ovlivnit rozvoj cestovního ruchu. V návaznosti na výsledky vyplývající z Porterová modelu můžeme konstatovat, že Turecko má dlouhotrvající a silnou pozici v oblasti cestovního ruchu, nicméně neustále se potýká s negativními vlivy vnějšího prostředí (politické, ekonomické atd.). V závěrečné části práce jsou vymezena jednotlivá doporučení týkající se efektivního využití primární a sekundární nabídky ve sféře cestovního ruchu. Je nutné poukázat na skutečnost, že se kvalitně řízený a zpracovaný marketingový program jeví jako jeden z významných předpokladů pro posílení pozice Turecka mezi středomořskými turistickými destinacemi.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis considers the development of tourism in application to the country of Turkey. Within this is an understanding of the primary and secondary offers that position tourism in Turkey. The overall aim of the study is to consider the factors that have shaped the tourist sector of Turkey and to analyse and interpret forces that may influence the country for the future, with a view to understanding Turkey’s position as a leading tourism destination. The thesis is primarily based on determination of secondary data, however, interpretation of the current situation also makes use of a SWOT analysis, of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportu-nities and Threats, for Turkey and the nation‘s present position in tourism. Following this is interpretation conducted using Porter’s competitive analysis. Through these two methods of analysis, it can be shown that Turkey has a long-standing and strong position in tourism, and yet for the future the country faces forceful challenges shaped by external environmental con-ditions (political, economic etc.) and positioning from completive nations (established and emerging). The thesis concludes with recommendations as to how Turkey may exploit its primary and secondary positions in tourism and confront environmental and competitive forc-es. With a well-organized marketing program it is foreseen to place Turkish tourism in the position of most revenue generating country among Mediterranean tourist destinations.
