The role of European Union as an external actor in democracy promotion: case study of Georgia and the operation of EUJUST Themis mission
Abstract:
Práce se věnuje působení Evropské unie jako demokratizačního aktéra ve svém sousedství, což ukazuje na příkladu vyslání civilní mise vlády zákona EUJUST Themis do Gruzie. Zkoumán bude vliv aktivit EU na situaci v gruzínském trestním soudnictví v období po Revoluci růží.
Abstract:
This thesis is dedicated to the role of European Union as a promoter of democracy in its neighbourhood, which is shown on the example of rule of law mission EUJUST Themis in Georgia. The research is focused on the activities of EU in Georgian criminal justice sphere in the period after the Rose Revolution.
