Estimates in the teaching of mathematics at the upper primary school and eight-year or six-year grammar schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma Odhady ve výuce matematiky na 2. stupni ZŠ a vícele- tých gymnáziích je zaměřena na pojem odhad, dělení odhadů, odhady ve školské matematice a ve vybraných učebnicích pro 2. stupeň ZŠ a víceletá gymnázia. Práce specifikuje pojem odhad z pohledu školské matematiky, zaměřuje se na dělení od- hadů s bližším objasněním dvou nejčastějších typů odhadů školské matematiky. V rámci praktické části diplomové práce byla provedena analýza výskytu odhadů ve vybraných učebnicích. Odhady byly porovnány podle vybraného typu dělení. Součástí práce je tvorba pracovního listu s úlohami na odhady obsahů reálných předmětů i geometrických obrazců. Pracovní list je doplněn o metodické pokyny pro učitele.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Estimates in the teaching of mathematics at the upper primary school and eight-year or six-year grammar schools" is focused on he concept of esti- mate, divisions of estimates, estimates in school mathematics and in selected school- books for the upper primary school and eight-year or six-year grammar schools. The thesis specifies the term of estimate from the school mathematics point of view and focuses on the division of estimates with a closer explanation of the two most common types of estimates in school mathematics. In the practical section of the thesis is an analysis of the occurrence of estimates in selected schoolbooks. The estimates were compared according to the selected type of division. The practical part also includes the worksheet piloting. The worksheet is subsequently developed and supplemented with instructions for teachers.
