Usability of Kernel-based Virtualization Machine (KVM) on computing clusters
Abstract:
Cílem práce je srovnání různých implementací virtuálních strojů pro Linux a demonstrace jejich výhod a rozdílů na příkladech použití. Práce je zaměřena na systém KVM a jeho srovnání se systémem Xen, který je již v současnosti na clusterech UVT MU používán. Práce postupně prochází jednotlivé části virtuální instance a srovnává zvolené přístupy obou technologií.
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare different implementations of virtual machines for Linux and to demonstrate their advantages and differences in various examples of use. The thesis is focused on system KVM and its comparison with system Xen that is being used on clusters of UVT MU in present.
