Creation of strategic scenarios of a certain eco-farm in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou investičních projektů a tvorbou strategických scénářů. Na základě výsledků těchto studií je následně předložena optimální varianta investičního rozšíření majiteli zkoumané ekofarmy. Zkoumané varianty vychází z průzkumu trhu a SWOT analýzy, následně jsou hodnoceny prostřednictvím kritérií – vnitřního výnosového procenta, ziskovosti a potenciálu růstu v budoucnosti. Cílem této práce je, v souladu s požadavky společnosti, vypracovat možné investiční projekty a předložit potřebné informace o jednotlivých projektech (výše počáteční investice, zpracování cenotvorby a odhadnutí budoucího prodeje), na základě těchto informací poté jednotlivé varianty zhodnotit pomocí vybraných kritérií. Tento postup povede k hlavnímu cíli této práce – navrhnutí optimální varianty investičního rozšíření. Veškeré poskytnuté údaje slouží k nanejvýš zodpovědnému rozhodnutí majitele o budoucím investičním rozšíření ekofarmy. Z analýzy jednotlivých investiční příležitostí vyplývá, že pro společnost bude optimální variantou vybudování agroturistického ubytovacího zařízení, i přesto, že současná situace v cestovním ruchu je kvůli pandemii Covid -19 nejistá.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the deep analysis of investment projects and the creation of strategic scenarios. Based on the results of these studies, an optimal and most relevant choice of investment expansion will be afterwards presented to the owner of the researched organic farm. The researched variants are based on market research and SWOT analysis. Subsequently, they are evaluated using the following criteria - internal rate of return, profitability and growth potential in the future. The aim of this diploma thesis is, in accordance with the requirements of the company, to develop possible investment projects and submit the necessary information about individual projects (the amount of the initial investment, price creation and estimating future sales). Based on this information, evaluation of each variant will follow by using selected criteria. These steps will lead to the main goal of this work - creation of an optimal variant of investment expansion. All provided data is used for the most responsible decision of the owner on the future investment expansion of the eco-farm. The analysis of individual investment opportunities shows that the most optimal option for the company will be to build an agritourism accommodation facility, even though the current situation in tourism is unfavorable due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
