Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku genderových nerovností v rodině, jenž vychází především z nerovného postavení mužů a žen ve společnosti. Muži a ženy si nikdy nebyli rovni, vždy bylo jedno pohlaví nadřazené tomu druhému a i přes veškeré pozitivní změny, které se již v oblasti rovnosti obou pohlaví podařilo uskutečnit, zůstávají muži v mnohém nadřazení ženám. Tyto nerovnosti ještě více umocňuje tradiční patriarchální model rodiny, založený na principu mužské dominance a striktního rozdělení genderových rolí, který je v mnoha rodinách naší společnosti stále ještě k vidění. Tento patriarchální vliv dále podporuje neustálou reprodukci genderových stereotypů, což způsobuje jakýsi začarovaný kruh, z něhož není snadné se vymanit.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of gender inequalities in the family, which is based primarily on the unequal position of men and women in society. Men and women have never been equal, one sex has always been superior to the other, and despite all the positive changes that have already been made in the area of gender equality, men remain superior to women in many ways. These inequalities are further exacerbated by the traditional patriarchal model of the family, based on the principle of male dominance and the strict division of gender roles that is still visible in many families in our society. This patriarchal influence further supports the constant reproduction of gender stereotypes, causing a vicious circle from which it is not easy to break out.
