Spatial planning and transport in town of Říčany - a case study of activities of interest groups

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu zájmových skupin a způsoby, kterými prosazují své zájmy v kontaktu s veřejnou a státní správou. Hlavní otázka této práce je zda, jakým způsobem a s jakým výsledkem ovlivňují zájmové skupiny územní plánování a dopravu ve městě Říčany. První část se zaměřuje na zařazení pojmu zájmová skupina do teoretického rámce a na objasnění procesů, jimiž dochází ke zprostředkování zájmů. V další kapitole se práce zaměřuje na objasnění komunikace zájmových skupin se státní a veřejnou správou v kontextu politologických teorií. Ve třetí kapitole jsou zkoumány zájmové skupiny ve městě Říčany. Závěrečnou část této práce věnuji problematice zájmových skupin a dopravní situace ve městě Říčany.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the analysis of interest groups and the ways in which they pursue their interests in contact with the public and state administration. The main question of this study is how do the interest groups influence spatial planning and transport in town of Říčany and what is the result of their activity. The first part focuses on the inclusion of the concept of interest groups to the theoretical framework. The process of the interest intermediation is explained. The next chapter is focused on communication between interest groups and state and public administration in the political science theoretical framework. The third chapter explores the interest groups within the town of Říčany. The final part of this thesis is focused on the examples of pressure groups and their action towards transport policy in the town of Říčany.
