Reading literacy in fifth grade.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou čtenářské dovednosti u žáků 5. ročníku. V teoretické části je definován pojem gramotnost a její historický vývoj, rozlišení pojmů čtenářská gramotnosti, funkční gramotnost a funkční negramotnost. Teoretická část diplomové práce vymezuje faktory ovlivňující čtenářskou gramotnost a poukazuje na metody, které ji rozvíjejí. Empirická část je zaměřena na analýzu čtenářských dovedností, zpracovává výsledky z pracovních listů. V závěru je vyhodnocena úroveň čtenářské gramotnosti u 125žáků pátých ročníků.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the reading skills of pupils in the fifth grade. In thetheoretical part we define concept of literacy and its historical development, differentiation between reading literacy, functional literacy and functional illiteracy. We also define the factors affecting literacy and methods that develop it. The empirical part is focused on the analysis of reading skills. We analyze the worksheets and at the end we evaluate the level of reading literacy among pupils in the fifth grade. There is an evaluation of reading literacy of 125 fifth grade pupils at the end of the thesis.
