Abstract:

Diplomová práce předkládá problematiku předsednictví České republiky Rady Evropské unie v roce 2009. Úvod práce popisuje okolnosti vzniku Evropské unie od jejího zrodu až po současnou evropskou integraci. Zachycuje vznik Evropského společenství uhlí a oceli, rozšiřování Evropského hospodářského společenství, a další rozšiřování na přelomu 70 a 80 let, které končí současným postojem členských států Evropské unie k přijetí Lisabonské smlouvy. Role České republiky, jako předsedající země, je významná nejen pro občany České republiky, ale ovlivňuje také vnímání ostatních členských zemí. Hlavním programem předsednictví je tématika označována souhrnně jak ekonomika, energetika, a zastupování Evropské unie ve světě při různých zasedáních, vyjednáváních a rozhodováních. V práci jsou uvedeny priority českého předsednictví a s ním spojené úkoly.

Abstract:

The diploma paper submits the dilemma of the Czech Republic European Union Chairmanship in the year of 2009. The paper introduction describes the background of the European Union origin. It mentions The European Coal and Steel Community inception, the European Economic Community spreading, another spreading at the turn of 70s and 80s which is being finished with the Lisboa Contract ratification these days. The Czech Republic part, as the presiding country, is important not only for its inhabitants but it also influences the perception of the other member countries. The central platform of our chairmanship is the question compoundly called economics, energetics and representing EU during the various sessions all over the world, negotation as well as arbitrating.The diploma paper introduces the preferences of the Czech chairmanship and all the tasks linked with that.
