Local politics and policy in Břeclav since 1998 (case study)
Abstract:
Cílem předkládané práce je zmapovat komunální politiku v Břeclavi od voleb v roce 1998 až po počátek roku 2008. Práce je chápána jako případová studie, využívá jak metody kvantitativního, tak kvalitativního výzkumu. Věnuje se rozboru komunálních voleb, volebních programů, tvorbě exekutivních koalic a událostem jednotlivých volebních období.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with communal politics in City of Břeclav since the municipal elections in 1998 to the beginning of year 2008. The thesis defines itself as the case study and uses both quantitative and qualitative methods. It analyses municipal elections, constitution of the executive coalitions, electoral programmes and the events of particular electoral terms.
