Main features and development of J. J. Johnsons's improvisational style based on analysis of selected solos of period 1946-1964
Abstract:
Diplomová práce „Hlavní znaky a vývoj improvizačního stylu J.J.Johnsona na základě analýzy vybraných sól z období 1946- 1964“ pojednává o zachycení a popsání hlavních znaků hudební improvizace J. J. Johnsona ve vymezeném časovém období pomocí analýzy je sól. V dalších kapitolách je stručně popsán Johnsonův život a příčiny vzniku hudebního stylu bebop, který byl pro Johnsona charakteristický.
Abstract:
Diploma thesis „Main features and development of J. J. Johnsons's improvisational style based on analysis of selected solos of period 1946 - 1964” deals with discovering and describing of main features J. J. Johnson’s improvisation style of selected time period. In other chapters is concisely described Johnson’s biography and cause of bebop style formation, which was typical for Johnson’s playing.
