Konceptuální umění je hnutí současného umění, které se objevuje v 60.letech minulého století, ale jeho počátky sahají až k ready made Marcela Duchampa na začátku 20. století. Conceptual art is a movement of the contemporary art, which appeared in the 1960s, but its beginnings go to ready made Marcela Duchampa at the beginning of the 20th century.
