Education of pregnant women with GDM diagnosis

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá onemocněním, jehož výskyt je typický pouze u těhotných žen. Těhotenská cukrovka může být poměrně nebezpečnou diagnózou, které by se měla věnovat patřičná pozornost a potřebná léčba. Teoretická část je pomocí odborné literatury zaměřena na jednotlivé typy diabetes mellitus, hyperglykémii v těhotenství, ale především na obsáhlou problematiku gestačního diabetes mellitus. V empirické části uvádím výsledky průzkumu, které jsem získala prostřednictvím dotazníku. Hlavním cílem mé práce bylo prozkoumat míru informovanosti u žen, které se ve své graviditě setkaly s těhotenskou cukrovkou.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the disease, whose incidence is typical only for pregnant women. Gestational diabetes can be quite dangerous diagnosis, which should be given great attention and appropriate treatment. In theoretical part is used literature which is focused on the different types of diabetes mellitus, hyperglycemia in pregnancy, but also the comprehensive issue of gestational diabetes mellitus. The results of the survey that I gained through the questionnaire, I present in the empirical part. The main aim of this study was to examine to the level of awareness among women with gestational diabetes in their pregnancy.
