Operating result and profitability of companies in the chosen industry

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu vývoje nákladů, výnosů a výsledků hospodaření a analýzu rentability ve společnostech Havlíkova přírodní apotéka, s.r.o., Nobilis Tilia, s.r.o a RYOR, a.s. Teoretická část je zaměřena na charakteristiku nákladů, výnosů, výsledku hospodaření, horizontální a vertikální analýzu, rentabilitu a její ukazatele. Tyto poznatky jsou následně uplatněny v rámci praktické části, kde jsou zvolené subjekty, které budou analyzovány, nejdříve charakterizovány, následně je provedena analýza vývoje nákladů, výnosů a výsledku hospodaření pomocí horizontální a vertikální analýzy a poté je provedena analýza rentability. Zjištěné výsledky jsou zhodnoceny a porovnány mezi sebou a s průměrem v odvětví. Závěrem jsou uvedena doporučení, která by mohla vést ke zlepšení situace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the development of costs, revenues and operating results and profitability analysis in the companies Havlíkova přírodní apotéka, s.r.o., Nobilis Tilia, s.r.o. and RYOR, a.s. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of costs, revenues, operating result, horizontal and vertical analysis, profitability and profitability ratios. This knowledge is then applied in the practical part, where the selected companies are first characterised, followed by an analysis of the development of costs, revenues and operating result using horizontal and vertical analysis and then profitability analysis. The results are evaluated and compared with each other and with the industry average. At the end of this bachelor thesis are made recommendations which could lead to an improvement of the situation.
