The Austerlitz

Abstract:

Jako cíl své bakalářské práce jsem si zvolil bitvu u Slavkova, která se odehrála 2. prosince 1805. Práci jsem rozložil do tří základních kapitol. Ve své práci jsem se snažil o vysvětlení důvodů vzniku třetí koalice, proč v této koalici měla hlavní slovo Velká Británie, za jakým účelem byla vytvořena a kdo se k ní nakonec připojil. Dále jsem se zabýval tažením a jeho problémy, které se v jeho rámci vyskytli. Zaměřil jsem se hlavně na Francouzskou armádu. Nastínil jsem její cestu až k bojišti u Slavkova. V rámci této práce jsem se také soustředil na popis průběhu bitvy s jejími důsledky, porovnal jsem uváděné počty ztrát a pokusil jsem se zhodnotit, jaké tato bitva měla následky pro její aktéry.

Abstract:

The author of this bachelor thesis focuses on The Battle of Austerlitz which held on 2nd December 1805. The thesis consists of 3 chapters. Exploration of the reasons of creation of the Third coalition and the reasons why the size of the British role was the most powerful one is mentioned and discussed in this thesis. The thesis focuses on known movements and its problems which occurred mainly in French army and tries to outline its way up to the battle of Austerlitz. The author also focuses on discussion about process of the Battle and its consequences and comparison of losses of both sides and evaluation of consequences for them.
