Effectiveness of communication in the selected work team

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu efektivní komunikace, a to v pracovním týmu. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat efektivnost komunikace uvnitř vybraného pracovního týmu. Důraz je kladen na problematiku týmové spolupráce a interní komunikace. Tyto, pro práci zásadní pojmy, jsou představeny pomocí odborných publikací a následně rozšířeny do dalších dílčích podkapitol v teoretické části práce. Pro účely praktické části práce je představena vybraná společnost, na které jsou realizovány vhodné metody pro analýzu vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí firmy. Podrobněji se však praktická část práce věnuje konkrétnímu pracovnímu týmu, který je zkoumaný pomocí dotazníkové šetření a hloubkových rozhovorů s členy týmu. Aby bylo možné odpovědět na cíl práce, jsou na základě teoretické části vybrány výzkumné otázky, které rovněž vycházejí z již zjištěných informací z prováděných výzkumů. Pomocí těchto výzkumných otázek je následně vyhodnocena efektivita komunikace ve vybraném pracovním týmu a dále jsou nastíněny možné nástrahy v oblasti interní komunikace a návrhy na zlepšení.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of effective communication in a work team. The aim of the work is to analyze the effectiveness of communication within the selected work team. Emphasis is put on the issue of teamwork and internal communication. These concepts, which are essential for the work, are introduced with the help of professional publications and subsequently extended to other subchapters in the theoretical part of the work. For the purposes of the practical part of the work, a selected company is introduced, at which suitable methods for the analysis of the external and internal environment of the company are implemented. However, the practical part of the work is devoted in more detail to a specific work team, which is examined through a questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews with team members. To be able to answer the aim of the work, research questions are selected on the basis of the theoretical part, which are also based on already obtained information from the conducted research. Using these research questions, the effectiveness of communication in the selected work team is then evaluated and possible pitfalls in the field of internal communication and suggestions for improvement are outlined.
