ECONOMIC ANALYSYS OF SOIL IMPROVING AND REINFORCING TREE SPECIES IN A COMMERCIAL FOREST

Abstract:

Zvyšování podílu listnatých dřevin v porostech při obnově s sebou nese i otázky, jak se tyto dřeviny promítnou do ekonomiky vlastníků lesa, a zda vlastník lesa může určité ekonomické aspekty výchovou porostů ovlivňovat. Uvedený text práce je zaměřen nejen na výnosovou stránku, kde analyzuje prodejní ceny dřevin, ale i jaké jsou náklady výroby dříví a která technologie je cenově nejvýhodnější. Pro nedostatek relevantních dat o méně zastoupených dřevinách v druhové skladbě České republiky byly použity výstupy ze sortimentace porostů v části Ruské federace – Ivanovské oblasti, kde autor nějakou dobu působil. Šlo o porosty s významným zastoupením břízy a osiky. Také řeší náklady spojené s obnovou a výchovou lesních porostů. V nákladech lesního podniku je pozornost věnována cenám sadebního materiálu a nákladům na obnovu lesa. Na modelových příkladech jsou vyčísleny rozdíly při různých způsobech obnovy porostů. Je zřejmé, že zvyšování podílu listnatých dřevin s sebou nese výhodu stability druhově pestrých lesů, doprovodným důsledkem je zpravidla zvýšení jednotkových nákladů na obhospodařování lesa a snížení výnosů.

Abstract:

Increasing the proportion of deciduous trees in forest stands during regeneration also entails questions about how these trees will be reflected in the economy of the forest owners, and whether the forest owner can influence certain economic aspects by tending the stands. The aforementioned text of the dissertation is focused not only on the revenue side, where it analyzes the sales prices of wood species, but also what the costs of producing wood assortments are, and which production technology is the most cost-effective. Due to the lack of data on less represented tree species in the species composition of the Czech Republic were used outputs from the assortment of forest stands in the part of the Russian Federation – Ivanovsk´s Region, where the author worked for some time in the past. These were stands with a successful representation of birch and aspen. The dissertation also deals with the costs associated with the forest regeneration and stand tending. In the costs of the forest enterprise is attention paid to the price of planting material and the costs of forest regeneration. Model examples are used to quantify the differences in different ways of forest regeneration. It is obvious that increasing the proportion of deciduous trees brings with it the advantage of the stability of diverse forests. An accompanying consequence is usually an increase in the unit costs of forest management and a decrease in return.
