Práce se zabývá problematikou české krásné knihy na přelomu 19. a 20. století. Popisuje vývoj, kterým kniha v tomto období prošla, a seznamuje s nejvýraznějšími osobnostmi, které se zasloužily o pozvednutí estetické a technické úrovně knihy. The thesis deals with the Czech beautiful book in the 19th and 20th centuries. It describes the development of the book during this period and introduces the most important personalities who have contributed to the uplift of the aesthetic and technical standards of the book.
