Abstract:

Práce pojednává o životě Karla Václava Adámka s důrazem na jeho činnost muzejní a muzeologickou na přelomu 19. a 20. století a v 1. polovině 20. století. V jednotlivých kapitolách jsou podrobně popsány názory Karla Václava Adámka týkající se organizace muzeí a jeho působení v různých společnostech na ochranu památek, v muzeích a na muzejních sjezdech, kde Karel Václav Adámek své názory prezentoval. Hlavním úkolem práce je zobrazit vývoj názorů Karla Václava Adámka na muzejní organizaci a uplatnění jeho názorů v praxi.

Abstract:

This work focuses on the life of Karel Václav Adámek, with an accent to his museum and museological activities in the late 19th century and in the first half of the 20th century. The each chapter in detail recounts Karel Václav Adámek´s attitudes relating to museum organization and his participation in different preserving monuments corporations, in museums and in Museum Congresses, where also Karel Václav Adámek pronounced his thesis. The main aim of this work is to present the progress of Karel Václav Adámek´s attitudes to museum organization and the implementation of his proposals.
