Anotace:

The goal of the thesis is to analyze how organizational responses to performance feedback are affected by organization level characteristics; specifically, whether there are groups of firms systematically behaving differently because of these characteristics. The text consists of five main sections. The first three sections are the theory part. Section one introduces an outline of my main theory, performance feedback theory. Section two and three are mostly allocated to a narrative review of firm life cycle theory and performance feedback theory, respectively. Section four and five are the empirical research part including the research design, its results, and the discussion.
