Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis we shall focus on the theme of the Czech characters in French literature. In the theoretical part we introduce the basic principles of how to analyse a literary character. With the aid of a questionnaire survey, we will try to find out how much the French are aware of Czech characters, whether they know some personalities from the Czech milieu and if they are aware of the symbolism that these characters represent. In the practical part we will consequently analyse the characters of Czechs in the literary works of selected authors, according to the principles described in the theoretical part.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zaměříme na téma postav Čechů ve francouzské literatuře. V teoretické části představíme základní principy, jakými je možné analyzovat literární postavu. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření se pokusíme zjistit, jaké mají Francouzi povědomí o postavách Čechů, jestli znají nějaké osobnosti z českého prostředí a zda si uvědomují symboliku, jež tyto postavy nesou. V praktické části poté provedeme analýzu postav Čechů v dílech vybraných autorů dle principů popsaných v teoretické části.
