Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Antisemitismus a jeho projevy v české a německé společnosti (19. a 20. století) se zaměřuje na vývoj antisemitismu počínaje obdobím před první světovou válkou. Především se věnuje postavení Židů v meziválečném období na území Československa a Německa, kde měly vliv na další společenský vývoj hospodářské krize, norimberské zákony a dílo Adolfa Hitlera, Mein Kampf. Dále se práce zabývá druhou světovou válkou a samotným konečným řešením – holocaustem a s ním spojeným fenoménem, kterým je popírání holocaustu.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis Antisemitism and its effects on Czech and German society (19th and 20th centuries) examines the development of Antisemitism starting from period before the World War I. Mainly it focuses on the position of Jews in the interwar period in Czechoslovakia and Germany, where the economic crisis, the Nuremberg Laws and Adolf Hitler’s work, Mein Kampf, had an influence on the further social development. Furthermore, the work deals with the Second World War and the final solution itself – the Holocaust and the phenomenon associated with it, which is the denial of the Holocaust.
