Analysis of the influence of fiber fineness on water permeability of geotextile

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena zejména na propustnost geotextilií. První část je teoretická a popisuje obecnou problematiku geotextilií. Dále jsou zde zmíněny technické parametry ovlivňujícími propustnost. V další části jsou analyzovány vzorky dodané společností Fibertex, a.s. Experimentální část je zaměřena na výrobu vzorků, z vláken různých jemností, s parametry podobnými vzorkům od společnosti Fibertex, následuje měření propustnosti. Výsledky měření jsou prezentovány v tabulkách a grafech. Na závěr je zhodnocen vliv jemnosti vláken na propustnost vody.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses mainly on permeability of nonwoven geotextiles. First theoretical part describes geotextiles in general. There are technical parameters affecting permeability mentioned too. Second part concerns analysis of samples supplied by Fibertex, Inc. Experimental part focuses on production of samples using threads of different counts, with parameters similar to samples of Fibertex, a. s. Next step was measuring of permeability. Acquired results are presented in charts and diagrams. In closing I have evaluated dependence of thread-counts on permeability of water.
