Employment possibilities for students from Opava's hospitality and services high school

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zjištění připravenosti absolventů hotelové školy v Opavě na vstup na trh práce nebo na další vzdělávání. Toto zjištění bylo provedeno na základě rozhovoru s vedoucí praxe a na základě dotazníků, které vyplnili studenti prvních a čtvrtých ročníků. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je vymezen pojem absolvent střední školy a jeho problematika. Popis oboru vzdělání hotelnictví a uplatnění absolventa v tomto oboru na trhu práce. Praktická část obsahuje charakteristiku Střední školy hotelnictví a služeb v Opavě, analýzu výuky studentů v praxi, výsledky dotazníkového šetření, návrhy a doporučení na zkvalitnění výuky a didaktický výstup.

Abstract:

The objective of this thesis is to get to know the Opava´s hospitality and services high school graduates preparedness for their entry into the labour market or for further education. This finding is based on questionnaires filled in by the students first and fourth grades and interviews with head teacher of practice. This thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the notion of a high school graduate and his problems. Description field of education, hospitality and the graduates in this field in the labor market. The practical part contains the characteristics High school hospitality and services in Opava, analysis of teaching students in practice, the results of the survey, proposals and recommendations on improvement of teaching and didactic output.
