Numerical simulation of steam flow in the entrance area of low-pressure heater with a circular union of pipes

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá numerickou simulací proudění páry v nízkotlakém ohříváku a následnou analýzou proudového pole páry na jejím vstupu do výměníku. Tepelné výměníky se využívají ke zvýšení účinnosti tepelného oběhu v elektrárnách a teplárnách. Ta spočívá v tzv. regeneraci, kdy napájecí vodu neohříváme pouze v parním kotli, ale předehřejeme ji v tepelném výměníku párou odebranou z turbíny. Na základě podkladů dodané od firmy ŠKODA POWER, s.r.o. byly vytvořeny dva 3D výpočtové modely nízkotlakého ohříváku, jeden model základní a druhý model s krycím plechem nad trubkovým svazkem. Výpočtové modely byly vytvořeny v preprocesoru Gambit a samotná numerická simulace proudění páry byla provedena ve výpočtovém systému Fluent 14. Hlavním cílem této práce byla analýza proudového pole páry na vstupu do výměníku a porovnání obou řešených variant, tj. základního modelu výměníku s modelem výměníku s krycím plechem nad trubkovým svazkem.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the numerical simulation of stream flow in the low-pressure heat exchanger and the subsequent analysis of the flow field in the stream enteving the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger are used to increase the efficiency of the heat circulation in power plants and heating plants. It lies in the so-called regeneration when the supply water is heated not only in the boiler, but it is also preheated in the next exchanger by stream collected from the turbine. On the basis of materials supplied by the company ŠKODA POWER,s.r.o. two 3D model low- pressure heat exchanger were constructed, one basic model and the second model with a cover plate aver the tube bundle. Models were constructed in the preprocessor Gambit and the numerical simulation of stream flow was performed in the computational system of Fluent 14. The aim of this study was to analyze the flow field at the input of the stream in the heat exchanger and to compute the model with the cover plate and the model without it.
