Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na problém směrování vozidel s možností překladů. Překlady umožňují vozidlům výměnu nákladu v předem určených překladištích, čímž vzniká možnost vytvářet flexibilnější dopravní plány. Tuto nově vzniklou flexibilitu je možné využít ke snížení celkově ujetých vzdáleností a nákladů na plánované trasy vozidel. Práce předkládá nový přístup k využití možnosti překladů na velkých datových instancích. Navržený postup je implementován a experimentálně ověřen. Součástí experimentů je vyhodnocení kvality implementovaného řešiče na reálných a syntetických datových instancích. Reálné instance nákladní automobilové dopravy byly poskytnuty firmou Wereldo. Generátor datových instancí založený na reálných geografických datech z projektu OpenStreetMaps byl implementován a využit za účelem vytvoření nové sady syntetických instancí. Výsledky experimentů ukázaly, že implementovanou metodou je možné docílit značného zlepšení ujetých vzdáleností i finančních nákladů.

Abstract:

The thesis addresses a variant of vehicle routing problem allowing for transfers. The introduction of transfers makes it possible for vehicles to exchange request loads at designated transfer points. This option provides more flexible means of transportation which can be exploited in order to reduce the traveled distances and costs. A novel approach capable of utilizing the possibility of transfers on very large instances is proposed, implemented and experimentally evaluated. The experiments were conducted on both real and synthetic instances. A real-world dataset targeting an application of large-scale freight transportation was provided by the company Wereldo. Instance generator built upon OpenStreetMaps geographical data was implemented and used to generate the synthetic instances. The obtained experimental results demonstrate that the implemented solver is capable of finding substantial savings by introducing transfers, especially in case of the real-world instances.
