The readiness of future teachers for students with the elective mutism

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá připraveností budoucích pedagogů na žáky s elektivním mutismem. První kapitola se věnuje edukací žáků s narušenou komunikační schopností na běžné základní škole, ve které je rozebrán termín narušená komunikační schopnost, její etiologie a klasifikace a v neposlední řadě legislativní vymezení v oblasti speciálně pedagogického školství. Druhá kapitola se věnuje komunikačními kompetencemi žáků s elektivním mutismem, ve které je rozebrán termín mutismus/elektivní mutismus, jeho etiologie, symptomatologie a diagnostika. Poslední kapitola se zabývá poradenskými službami pro žáky s mutismem, logopedickou intervencí, podporou žáka s mutismem v edukačním procesu a důležitostí role pedagoga v rozvoji komunikačních kompetencí žáka. Výzkumná část obsahuje cíle, metody projektu, charakteristika zkoumaného vzorku, analýzy dat a vlastní výzkumné šetření v podobě výsledků znalostí studentů Pedagogické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity v Brně.

Abstract:

This dissertation concerns the readiness of future teachers for students with the elactive mutism. The first chapter describes the education of a student with disturbed communication skills at basic school where the causes, classification and last not least of all, legislative sphere of special pedagogic education are analyzed. The second chapter is dedicated to the communication competence of students with elective mutism from where mutism/elactive mutism, the etiology, symptomatology, and diagnostic are analyzed. The last chapter is concerned with support service for students with mutism, logopedic intervention, support for students with mutism in the educational process, and the important role of the teacher in the development of student competence. The research part contains goals, project methods, characteristic researching sample, analysis of dates, and own research in the of form student’s results from Faculty Education Masaryk University in Brno.
