Ordinary Differential Equations in Word Problems

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme aplikacím obyčejných diferenciálních rovnic prvního a druhého řádu. Práce je rozčleněna do pěti kapitol, přičemž každá z nich se zabývá jedním typem diferenciálních rovnic. Výběr typů rovnic je určen zvolenými aplikacemi; práce se tedy zaměřuje na rovnice se separovanými proměnnými, lineární rovnice prvního a druhého řádu, Bernoulliho rovnice a rovnice exaktní. Všechny kapitoly mají stejnou strukturu, ve které je nejprve uvedena základní teorie ke konkrétnímu typu rovnice, následuje metoda řešení dané rovnice a poslední část kapitoly tvoří řešené slovní úlohy.

Abstract:

In this thesis we study the applications of ordinary differential equations of first and second order. The thesis consists of five chapters, each of them dealing with one type of differential equations. Selection of the types is determined by the chosen applications; the thesis thus focuses on separable equations, linear equations of first and second order, Bernoulli's equations and exact equations. Every chapter has the same structure; the first part consisting of fundamental theory for the particular type of equation is followed by its solution technique and solved word problems.
