Kindergarten Teacher´s Work with Children with Different Mother Tongues

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter a zabývá se tématem vzdělávání dětí předškolního věku s odlišným mateřským jazykem v českých mateřských školách. Cílem práce je zjistit, v čem je práce učitelů mateřských škol s dětmi s odlišným mateřským jazykem specifická. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na terminologické vymezení pojmu dítě s odlišným mateřským jazykem a popisuje charakteristické rysy těchto dětí. Vysvětluje legislativní ukotvení vzdělávání dětí s odlišným mateřským jazykem a obsahuje informace týkající se samotného vzdělávání těchto dětí. V praktické části je použit kvantitativně orientovaný výzkum, který byl realizován metodou dotazníkového šetření s učiteli mateřských škol, kteří se již během své pedagogické praxe setkali s dítětem s odlišným mateřským jazykem. Interpretace výsledků výzkumu je doplněna o doporučení pro praxi v mateřských školách.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis has theoretical-empirical character and it deals with the topic of education of preschool children with a different mother tongue in Czech kindergartens. The aim of the thesis is to find out how specific is the work of kindergarten teachers with children with a different mother tongue. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis focuses on the terminological definition of the term child with a different mother tongue and describes the characteristic features of these children. It explains the legislative basis for the education of children with different mother tongue and includes informations about education of these children. In the practical part is used quantitatively oriented research, which was carried out using a questionnaire survey method with kindergarten teachers who have already experienced a child with a different mother tongue during their teaching practice. The interpretation of the research results is complemented by recommendations for practice in kindergartens.
