Proposal of an Information Eduaction Breeders of Dogs and Cats using Challenge Based Learning

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce s názvem „Návrh informačního vzdělávání chovatelů psů a koček s využitím Challenge Based Learning“ seznamuje čtenáře s pojmem Challenge Based Learning, tedy poměrně mladým termínem označující výukový rámec využívající přínosu výuky získáním zkušenosti zdoláním stanovené výzvy. V práci je tento přístup představen z teoretického hlediska, kdy je vysvětlen postup, jak ho implementovat do výuky a z praktického hlediska je právě tato implementace představena na návrhu kurzu informačního vzdělávání. V praktické části je autorkou popsán důvod aplikace informačního vzdělávání do zájmového vzdělávání spolu s využitými metodami a přístupy, které byly při návrhu lekce využity. Práce je koncipována tak, aby mohla být využita pro samotnou aplikaci kurzu či návrh jiného vzdělávání s uplatněním rámce Challenge Based Learning.

Abstract:

Presented thesis „Proposal of Information Literacy Education for Dog and Cat Breeders using Challenge Based Learning“ introduces readers a term Challenge Based Learning, a relatively young concept identifying a learning framework that exploits the benefits of gaining experience by overcoming a challenge. In the thesis is this approach introduced from a theoretical point of view explaining how to implement it in teaching and from a practical point of view is this implementation presented on the design of informational education course. In the practical part of the thesis author describes reason for the application of informational education into leisure-based education together with used methods and approaches used in the design of the lesson. The design of this thesis is allowing its use as a real educational course or as a proposal for another type of education using challenge based learning.
