Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou posunu divácké a/nebo čtenářské perspektivy v dramatu. Tuto problematiku zkoumá jak z teoretické stránky, tak i z praktického hlediska. První kapitola vysvětluje, co je to posun perspektivy, rozebírá tento proces po jednotlivých krocích, a teoreticky analyzuje jednotlivé typy posunů. Zaobírá se také zásadní rolí diváků a čtenářů v tomto procesu. Ve druhé a třetí kapitole je krátce zmíněn žánr jakobínské městské komedie a styl těchto komedií od Thomase Middletona. Čtvrtá kapitola seznamuje se čtyřmi Middletonovými komediemi (A Trick to Catch the Old One, The Roaring Girl, A Chaste Maid in Cheapside, The Old Law, or A New Way to Please You), které jsou v následujících kapitolách analyzovány podle jednotlivých typů posunu perspektivy.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with a shift of perspective in drama. Chapter 1 explicates what a shift of perspective is, and how it works. Subsequently it analyses the individual types of shifts. The essential role of the audience and/or readers in the process is also examined. Chapters 2 and 3 mention the genre of Jacobean city comedy and the style of city comedies by Thomas Middleton. Chapter 4 acquaints with four Middleton’s comedies—A Trick to Catch the Old One, The Roaring Girl, A Chaste Maid in Cheapside, and The Old Law, or a New Way to Please You, which are analysed in following chapters on the basis of the individual types of the shift of perspective.
