The measurement of the empoyee's satisfaction as the management's instrument in company

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké jsou hlavní faktory spokojenosti či nespokojenosti zaměstnanců v podniku. Dílčím cílem je vyzdvihnout význam pracovní spokojenosti, představit hodnocení, ale také názory pracovníků administrativního oddělení a dělnických profesí. Téma jsem zvolila na základě toho, že se jedná o závažný celospolečenský problém. Nyní je na trhu práce velká poptávka, ale pro firmy je velmi složité najít si kvalitní zaměstnance. Proto by se firmy měly snažit uspokojovat své kvalitní zaměstnance, aby neměli důvod odcházet ke konkurenci. Teoretické východisko se zabývá spokojeností, motivací, odměňováním zaměstnanců a vhodností povolání vzhledem k jejich schopnostem. Případová studie je zaměřena na analýzu současného stavu spokojenosti zaměstnanců v podniku, který jsem zjišťovala pomocí dotazníkového šetření a dotazování. Respondenty jsem rozdělila na administrativní oddělení a dělnické profese, abych zjistila, zda nemají rozdílné názory a postoje. Z výsledků dotazníkového šetření vyplývá, že zaměstnanci jsou ve firmě velmi spokojeni. I v tomto případě jsem navrhla doporučení ke zlepšení současného stavu spokojenosti zaměstnanců. Doporučení se týkala např. pracovní doby, motivačního programu, podpoře mezilidských vztahů, řešení spokojenosti zaměstnanců. Veškeré návrhy byly předány jednatelům společnosti, kteří se s nimi seznámili a k jednotlivým návrhům se vyjádřili.

Abstract:

The main target of my thesis is find out the major factors of contentment and discontentment employees in the company. The part target is to emphasize the meaning of working satisfaction, introduce evaluation, the opinions of white-collar workers and blue-collar workers. I chose this topic, because according to my point of view it is society-wide problem. There is a big demand in the labour market, but companies can find skilled workers with a big difficulty. That´s why companies should try to satisfy their skilled workers . They will not have the reason to leave company for competition. Theoretical possibility of the thesis is concerned with satisfaction, motivation, remuneration and how employees choose their job in the view of the fact their skills. Case study is focused on the analysis of current condition the employees´ satisfaction in company. I found out the situation with interview survey and questioning. I devided the respondents in two groups: white-collar workers and blue-collar workers. I wanted to know if they have different opinions and attitude. There are recommendations and proposals what to improve so that the employees would be more satisfied. The results of the questionnaire survey show that the employees are very satisfied with the company. Even in this case, I have proposed recommendations to improve the current state of employee satisfaction. The recommendations concerned, for example, working hours, motivation programs, support for interpersonal relationships, employee satisfaction. All the proposals were forwarded to the company's directors, who became acquainted with them and made their comments.
