Actual possibilities of Investing in commodities futures markets

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Aktuální možnosti investování do komodit prostřednictvím futures kontraktů“ je analýza komoditního trh a vytvoření investiční strategie. V první části jsou vymezeny základní teoretické vlastnosti termínových futures kontraktů a popsány principy obchodování s futures kontrakty. V praktické části jsou analyzovány vybrané komoditní burzy a vzájemně porovnány. V další části jsou analyzovány komodity, se kterými se nejčastěji obchoduje a nastíněna predikce jejich vývoje na základě fundamentální analýzy. Na závěr jsou formulována investiční doporučení pro drobného investora

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis “Actual possibilities of investing in commodities futures” is the analysis of commodity market and creation investment strategy. In the first part the basic theoretical properties of the term futures contract are defined and described the principles of trading in futures contract. In the practical part are analyzed some commodity exchanges and they are compared to each other. The next part analyzes the commodities, which are frequently traded and outlines the prediction of the development based on fundamental analysis. In conclusion investment recommendations are formulated for the small investor.
