Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá překladem jedné kapitoly knihy The Gypsies od Jana Yoorse a jejím následných rozborem. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Praktická část obsahuje samotný překlad, v teoretické části jsou analyzovány jednotlivé aspekty překladu na základě několika teoretických hledisek a uvedeny příklady. Zvláštní důraz je kladený na lexikální prostředky.

The bachelor’s thesis deals with an English to Czech translation and the analysis of the chapter twelve of The Gypsies by Jan Yoors.
