Physiotherapy after injury in racing cycling

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce je přispět k řešení problematiky zlomeniny klíční kosti při úraze v cyklistice zvolením vhodných postupů, metod a konceptů fyzioterapeutické léčby. Dále také seznámit veřejnost s praktickými a teoretickými poznatky týkající se dané problematiky. Metodika: V této kapitole je zpracována kazuistika ženy, která utrpěla zlomeninu klíční kosti v důsledku úrazu v cyklistice. Obsahuje vstupní i výstupní vyšetření a následnou rehabilitační péči po dobu 6 týdnů s frekvencí terapií 2x týdně, která se zaměřuje na zlepšení hybnosti a svalové síly a zmenšení bolestivosti v oblasti pletence horní končetiny. Porovnáním obou vyšetření bude stanoven efekt terapie. Výsledky: Došlo ke zlepšení postavení ramenního kloubu, zvýšení rozsahu pohybu v kloubu a zvýšení svalové síly. Zároveň se podařilo upravit celkové postavení trupu. Závěr: Díky fyzioterapeutické intervenci trvající 6 týdnů se podařilo zlepšit postavení ramenního pletence, zvýšit svalovou sílu a rozsah pohybu v této oblasti. Pacientka se ke konci terapie začala postupně vracet na kolo, zatím v podobě trenažeru a byla motivovaná dále pokračovat v autoterapii.

Abstract:

Aim: The aim of bachelor´s thesis is to cuntribute to the solution of the problem of collarbone fracture in cycling injury by choosing the following procedures, methods and concepts of physiotherapeutic treatment. Furthmore to acquaint the public with practical and theoretical knowledge related to the issue Methodology: This chapter deals with a case report of woman who suffered a collarbone fracture as a result of a cycling injury. It includes initial and final examination and follow-up rehabilitation treatment, which focuses on improving mobility and muscle stength and reducing pain in the girdle of the upper limb. The effect of therapy will be determined by comparing the two examinations. Results: There was an improvement in the position of the shoulder joint, an increase in the range of motion in the joint and an increase in muscle strength. At the same time we managed to adjust the overall position of the body posture. Conclusion: Thanks to a physiotherapeutic intervention lasting 6 weeks, it was possible to improve the position of the shoulder girdle, increase muscle strength and range of motion in this area. At the end of the therapy, the patient gradually began to return to the bike, so far in the form of a simulator, and was motivated to continue autotherapy.
