The Typology of Values in Literal Criticisms Published in Critical Appendices of the Revolver Revue

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá hodnotami literárních kritik publikovaných v Kritické Příloze Revolver Revue, která vycházela mezi léty 1995-2004. V úvodu je nastíněna podoba této literární kritiky, poté se práce věnuje rovinám, na kterých jsou hodnoty literárních kritik definovány nejzřetelněji. Kapitola Realita se snaží zachytit, jakým způsobem se má dle Kritické Přílohy hodnotné literární dílo vztahovat k aktuální současnosti, dále je představena koncepce autorství Kritické Přílohy a vztah Přílohy k formálním aspektům literárního díla. Vzájemná provázanost těchto okruhů a určitá typologie hodnot je nastíněna v závěrečném shrnutí.

Abstract:

The thesis examines the values contained in literary criticisms published in the Critical Appendix (Czech: Kritická Příloha) of the Revolver Revue, a Czech magazine issued from 1995 to 2004. The foreword outlines the general traits of these literary criticisms, while the latter chapters deal with those layers of criticisms where the values can be best defined. The “Reality” chapter discusses the way in which, according to the Critical Appendix, a valuable literary work should relate to the contemporary society. The thesis then describes the Appendix's concept of authorship, and their approach to the formal aspects of a literary work. The afterword then summarises the interconnectedness of all of these topics, and offers a typology of values.
