Commented translation of a non-literary text in the field of social sciences: Spanish Civil Code

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is a translation of a non-literary text from the field of social science from Spanish into Czech. The thesis is divided into four parts which are further divided into chapters and subchapters. The first part is dedicated to the translation of the Spanish text into Czech, which is analyzed in the second and third. The second part deals with the commentary of the Spanish text and the third part focuses on the analysis of the translation itself, which describes the methodology, translation techniques together with examples and finally translation problems we encountered during the translation are mentioned. The final section is devoted to the glossary of 45 terms which were basic to the same amount of the terminological records.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je překlad odborného textu z oblasti společenských věd ze španělštiny do češtiny. Práce se skládá ze čtyř hlavních částí, které se dále dělí do kapitol a podkapitol. První část je věnována překladu španělského textu do češtiny, což je pak v druhé a třetí části podrobeno analýze. Druhá část se zabývá komentářem výchozího španělského textu a třetí část se pak zaměřuje na analýzu překladu samotného, kde se popisuje metodologie, překladatelské postupy spolu s příklady a na závěr se zmiňují překladatelské problémy, se kterými jsme se při překladu setkali. Závěrečná část je věnována glosáři se 45 termíny, na jejichž základě bylo zpracováno stejné množství terminologických tabulek.
