Volně žijící zvířata často představují nepříliš detailně prozkoumaný, avšak významný rezervoár širokého spektra živočišných virů. Velkým problémem při studiu patogenů volně žijících zvířat je problematická dostupnost vzorků. Wild birds can present an important source of many zooviruses that cause numerous diseases.A difficult availability of samples for an analysis is a big problem of detection of these viruses.
