Evaluation of fattening of Limousine breed in conditions of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se prostřednictvím deskriptivní a komparativní metody zaměřuje na zjištění výkrmnosti plemene limousine v podmínkách České republiky, a to konkrétně v podniku ZD Skály. Cílem této práce je posouzení výkrmnosti u limousinského skotu ve sledované odchovně. Práce zahrnuje také pojednání o historii chovu, aktuálnímu stavu plemene v našich podmínkách a kontrolu užitkových vlastností, dále se zabývá masnou užitkovostí a vlivy, které na ni působí.Byla hodnocena růstová schopnost býků ve 120, 210 a 365 dnech a porovnání přírůstků na pozorované odchovně plemenných býků ZD Skály s populací zařazených do testace v rámci České republiky v letech 2015, 2016 a 2017. V závěru bylo zjištěno, že nejvyšší průměrné dosažené hodnoty nad úrovní populace u všech sledovaných parametrů byly v Podniku v roce 2015. V následujících letech došlo v případě přírůstku od narození a hmotnosti ve 120 a 210 dnech k poklesu pod úroveň populace, ovšem průměrný přírůstek za test a hmotnost v 365 dnech dosahovaly ve všech pozorovaných období nadprůměrné hodnoty.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the determination of limousine breeding in the Czech Republic through the descriptive and comparative method, specifically in the company ZD Skály. The aim of this work is to assess fattening in limousine cattle in the monitored rearing. The work also includes a treatise on the history of breeding, the current state of the breed in our conditions and control of utility properties, then it deals with the meat performance and the effects that affect it.The growth ability of bulls at 120, 210 and 365 days and the comparison of increases in the observed breeding bulls ZD Skály with the population included in the testing in the Czech Republic in 2015, 2016 and 2017 were evaluated. In conclusion, it was found that the highest average achieved values above the population level in all monitored parameters were in the Company in 2015. In the following years, in the case of birth and weight gains at 120 and 210 days, there was a decrease below the population level, but the average increase for the test and weight at 365 days were above average in all observed periods.
