Proteiny jsou důležitou součástí mnoha biologických procesů. Znalost jejich struktury je často nezbytná k pochopení a řízení jejich funkce. Trojrozměrnou strukturu proteinových molekul na atomové úrovni můžeme určit experimentálně pomocí nukleární magnetické rezonance (NMR). Proteins play a very important role in many biological processes. Knowledge of protein's structure is necessary for understanding and control its function.
