This bachelor thesis focuses on the capability of microorganisms to assimilate sulfur from various sulfur sources. Described are the mechanisms of sulfur assimilation from inorganic and organic compounds, including the specific enzymes and their regulation systems. Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá schopnosťou mikroorganizmov asimilovať síru z rôznych sírnych zdrojov. Popísané sú mechanizmy asimilácie síry z anorganických i organických zlúčenín za účasti špecifických enzýmov a ich regulačných systémov.
